Norman W. Haas, 80, of Quincy, passed away Sunday (11/25/2012) at the Laurels of Coldwater. He was born June 6, 1932 in Three Rivers, MI to Edward “LeRoy” and Pauline (Ranck) Haas. Norm graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1950 and served the US Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the lumber insurance business most of his life, traveling 10 years through the state of Texas for Indiana Lumberman’s Mutual, then in Mississippi for 10 years, and finally traveling throughout the state of Michigan until he retired. In retirement, he and his wife bought, sold, and promoted antique shows.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Chapman) Haas, whom he married June 11, 1955; a son, Jeffrey Haas of Jackson MS; a sister, Ellen Haas of Three Rivers; one brother, Paul Haas of Dallas TX; and 2 grandsons, Brad & Ryan Haas. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Russell and Kenward Haas, and 1 sister, Donna Jean Haas.
